I own and operate a professional custom drapery studio, creating window treatments, bedding, and accessories in the Chicago suburbs. I am privileged to participate in the interior design of beautiful homes of amazing people, many of which I am proud to now call my friends. I am a wife to a wonderful, supportive man, mother to the three most caring adults I know, grandmother to two PERFECT grandchildren, and 'mom' to our little dog, Wrigley.
Aside from my career as a drapery artist, I enjoy gardening, crafting, cooking and the Chicago Cubs.
But above all, I love sewing and birdwatching. Combining these two inspired the name of my blog: by helping people create the interiors they love, I am helping them "feather their nest".
